The Rise of extremism in the Middle East.
A vast majority of people have witnessed horrific crimes committed by religious extremist groups all around the world. From horrible ways of killing torture, bombings, mass shootings, and even invasions.
It’s been going on for decades. Despite the world’s fight against it, the battle is nowhere close to its end. The question is when did they start appearing in the world? What were their motives when they began? From the second Egyptian-Israeli war known as the “October War”, many Arab nationalist leaders were on the rise to keep hold of the government. Mostly were done through military coups and Saddam Hussein was one of them.
After the war ended and Arabs claimed victory, life was not good for some Christians and Jewish who live there. After the immigration of most of them, mainly in North Africa and Syria, extreme conservatism began rising among the people. Mostly the young ones and the college students. Additionally, the Afghan-Russian war brought many extremist religious people off their caves in the early 80s. During that era many extremists from Saudi Arabia and a few other Arab countries along with others coming from Chechnya and other neighboring countries to Afghanistan to fight against the Russians in the so-called “JIHAD”.
When the number of extremists around the middle east and the world was going up. Many propaganda funded by wealthy extremists like Osama Bin Laden succeeded in attracting them to Afghanistan until it became the silicon valley of terrorism.
